RUTH PULLEN Obituary

PULLEN, RUTH ANN Passed away peacefully at the Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at the age of 74. Survived by spouse Lawrence Sr., son Thomas (Carol), granddaughter Treva Michelle (mother Samantha), brother William Jr. (Jane), sister Dawn, brother-in-law Jim and a large extended group of family and friends. Predeceased by son Lawrence Jr., father William, mother Muriel and sisters Gladys and Madeline. Ruth retired after a lengthy career with Toronto Dominion Bank. Her greatest enjoyment in her retirement was travelling, especially on cruises with her granddaughter. She was highly involved in her church's activities and was diligent in her longtime volunteering with her church. There will be a visitation at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at St. Thomas the Apostle Church followed by a Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Following the reception, friends are invited to attend the Interment Service with the family at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Thomas the Apostle Church. Arrangements entrusted to the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia, 705-326-3595. very sorry about the loss of a wonderful person=always welcome at her table =lots of fun and stories shared-a true heart-the world will be smaller now without her- in Vancouver so will miss you all at the wake - lots of love-thinking of you all--
