MORTELLITI, SALVATORE LOMBARDO January 18, 1938 - April 20, 2022 Loving father, grandfather, husband and brother, Sal passed away after a year-long battle with cancer. Predeceased by his beloved wife Dona. Sal leaves behind many who loved him, including sons Cleve (Catherine) and Paul (Christine) and daughter Kim. Sal will be dearly missed by grandsons Cole, Cody, and Justin, as well as his sisters Agata, Lina and Victoria and brother Rocco. Sal was predeceased by his brother Ken. Sal also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. After arriving in Canada from his native Italy at the age of 15, Sal built a life centred on family and community service while establishing a successful career as the owner of Magna Life Financial. He was known as a kind and charismatic man with an infectious sense of humour, never too busy to help, and he never missed an opportunity to say I love you. A visitation to honour and celebrate Sal's life will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2022, from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at the Taylor Funeral Home (524 Davis Drive, Newmarket).
