SANDRA CRESSMAN Obituary

SANDRA "SANDI" CRESSMAN (nee MERCER) Passed away in her sleep at the Brampton Civic Hospital on January 10, 2013. She will be missed by her best friend and husband John, and loving daughter Sarah Lynn. She is survived by her parents Rev. J. David Mercer and Dorothy Mercer, sister Joanne Whitten and brother Don Mercer. She will be missed and not forgotten by family and numerous friends, and by acquaintances from around the world. A Memorial Service will be held at the Brampton Memorial Chapel & Visitation Centre, 10061 Chinguacousy Rd. (at Bovaird), 905-460-9155, on Sunday, January 20, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. Visitation one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Toronto General Hospital, the Brampton Civic Hospital, Canadian Liver Foundation, the Kidney Foundation of Canada, or the Canadian Transplant Association.

I remember meeting Sandi and her husband John in Markdale Ontario at the Markdale Hospital where we had a mutual friend, but moreso Sandi and our mutual friend Stephen, shared much in common that being "they both had had kidney transplants" at that time Stephen a mere 49 was not doing well due to another problem but related to his transplant many years before, as I was there with Stephen the entire time he was in Hospital before his passing in March 2011, ONE person stood out , out of everyONE and that was Sandra, no matter how far or how she felt, she and John, made many visits, right up to the day before Stephen passed, I will remember her fondly and her husband John, them sharing with me how they met, was a real old fashion love story, endeared she will be, Karen Halder
