Sandra NICHOL Obituary

NICHOL, Sandra Louise Passed away suddenly at home on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at the age of 69. Sandy was born February 15, 1948 in Toronto and was a lifelong resident of the city. Sandy was the first born of Dorothy and Jack Nichol (deceased). She is survived by her sister Patti Zacny, brothers Jim (Denise), Bill (Barbara), Mike (Teresa) and Steve (Robin) Nichol and the many nieces and nephews Jason and Scott Nichol, Kerri and Kelly Zacny, Tom, Jeffrey, Chad, Jack, Amanda and Michael Nichol. Sandy will fondly be remembered as the one who organized, always well in advance, all the summer and winter family gatherings. Family was always very important to Sandy and she longed to know all about the family history of our ancestors, the enjoyment she had sharing, viewing and reminiscing over old and new family photos. She always kept in touch, whether to just talk, check up on how we were all doing, showing a keen interest in the lives of all her nieces and nephews or making sure she shared the weekly update of her favourite show, Coronation Street. She will be missed. A time of remembrance and reflection will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere, east of the Jane subway, from 5 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. I will miss your friendly smile whenever we would meet and a brief but pleasant conversation that always followed. It was a pleasure to cross paths with you in this journey called life. Rest in Peace.

Sandy will be fondly remembered as we had a lot of chin wags together. My sincere condolences to all the family.
