SEBASTIAN STEGMANN Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at the age of 92. Survived by Anna Stegmann. Loving father of Irene Grosvenor, Monika Stegmann, Anita Gagnon, Michael Stegmann (Mariana) and Peter Stegmann (Jane). Dear Opa of Nigel, Dane, Christine, Emily, Scott, Alexander, Matthew, Benjamin, Jessica and Robert and great- grandfather of Sophia. Sebastian is also survived by family in Germany and friends on three continents. A Memorial Service will be held at Ward Funeral Home, Weston Chapel, 2035 Weston Road in Toronto on Friday, August 8, 2014 at 3 p.m. Visitation begins at 2 p.m., prior to the service. As per Sebastian's wishes, his body has been donated to the Division of Anatomy, University of Toronto. Sebastian will be laid to rest at St. James Cemetery, where the dedication reads "Here lies the cremated remains of those who, in the interest of others, donated their bodies to medical education and research. The University of Toronto deeply appreciates their generosity and marks this place to honour their memory." In lieu of flowers, please donate to, or visit the Toronto Zoo, where a memorial tree will be planted in Sebastian's honour. More than anything, Sebastian loved being outdoors with his family and friends, especially in the Rouge Valley.
