SHEILA SCHULTZ Obituary

SCHULTZ, SHEILA (nee MacPHEE) At St Michael's Hospital on March 16, 2021. Dearly loved and missed by her daughter Paula, son-in-law Marcus Ali, dear friend and fellow mischief-maker Molly Ali, and grandson Malcolm, the apple of her eye, and by the friends and family with whom she enjoyed sharing her wit, her love of the arts, and a good cup of tea. She derived great joy from sharing her love of music with her piano students and their families over more than four decades of teaching. A private family service has been held with a celebration of her life to follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Regent Park School of Music, the Toronto Public Library or the Toronto Foundation for Student Success, would be greatly appreciated as fitting tributes.

Sheila always had a twinkle in her eye and a wry wit that made me laugh. She was generous with her kindness and always made you feel that she'd be in your corner when times were tough. Dear Paula, Marcus, Malcolm and Molly,

Thinking of you all every day. Oh my she will be missed. Her love of arts and talents as a teacher and generosity of spirit live on in Paula. I’ll always remember sitting with her in many audiences, smiling together, as we watched Paula perform. And later with Molly, as we all listened to Marcus play. She provided us all with so much support, always, in everything we did. I look forward to giving you all big hugs, when we can all remember together in the same place.
