Even though my heart aches, I can't help but smile when I think of Sheila. She was such a loving, giving, joyful soul. Thankfully, that beautiful light lives on. I love you, Sheila! xox

I had the pleasure of growing up with Sheila. What a wonderful human being she was; always smiling and looking on the brighter side of things. I am truly blessed to have known Sheila, and will miss her dearly. My heart aches for her family and those who have had the opportunity to have been blessed by the wonderful gift of Sheila in their lives.
God Bless,

The first time we met Sheila, she was a beautiful, little flower girl, all dress up for her Aunt Gail's wedding. She had the most amazing smile and she just captured everyone's heart. We saw her on a few occassions throughout the years at other family weddings, and each and every time, she still possessed that wonderful smile. She was always so positive and we are very fortunate to have met her. It is with our deepest sympathy that we extend our prayers to her family.
Sincerely,
Bonnie & Peter Jova

Sheila's passing has really hit me hard, considering she was a very big part in welcoming me into the Whittaker family when we first met 2 years ago. Sheila was always there to make me smile, her humor and beautiful soul will be greatly missed.
She is one of the most selfless, caring, and genuine people I have had the pleasure of knowing, and writing this is absolutely heartbreaking. My condolences go out to the Whittaker and the Oye family, words cannot express how much she was loved and how much she will be missed by everyone whose life she has touched.
Love always,

Stephen, Jennifer and Daniel, Pat and I were shocked and saddened at the news of Sheila's death. We knew that Sheila had experienced serious health challenges but expected that such a young person would survive the latest ordeal as well. We did not get to know Sheila well but what we did experience upon every encounter with her was a warm, sincere and selfless interest in those whom she met. She will be missed

From the day she entered this world, Sheila knew how to light up a room and bring joy to others. She was our wee Halloween pumpkin, with the brightest twinkle and the most loving and open heart. Sheila knew how to love and when she loved you, it was forever and for always. She never stopped loving those she entrusted her heart to - be they family, friends and others. She engaged others with warmth, joy and hospitality. Thank you Stephen, Jennifer and Daniel for embracing her life with such love and caring. Lois and Mike, you loved her to her core and knew her like no others. Michelle, you have been the best sister she could have had and your family meant the world to her. I am humbled, saddened and grateful that I have walked on her life path since the moment of her birth. She was my first dolly girl and will be forever. My heart will never be the same. I love you, Shee-Bee - I love you for always. May all of you who knew her find comfort and healing. Love Aunt Gail
