SHERRILL ANNE DORLING U E (nee MacMICKING) Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Friday, December 4, 2009 in her 71st year. Beloved life partner of Barney Leach. Much loved mother of Pam Foote and husband Dean and Jeannie Combden and husband Casey. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Mackenzie, Stephanie, Taylor, Cassidy, Casey Jr., Colton, Carley-Jean and Cailyn. Survived by her brother John MacMicking and wife Phyllis; nieces Megan and Charlena; nephews Matt and Will and by her brother-in-law Richard Dorling and wife Sylvia. Fondly remembered by cousins Chuck MacMicking and wife Jean and Wendy Farha. Predeceased by her parents Helen and Jack MacMicking, sister-in-law Audrey MacMicking and by Don Dorling. Sherry was a proud member and former Secretary of the United Empire Loyalists' Association of Canada, Past President of the Niagara Peninsula Needle Arts Guild and was on the Boards of Directors of the St. Catharines Collegiate Alumni Trust and Theatre Beyond Words. Family will receive friends on Monday, December 28, 2009 from 2-4 p.m. at the Glenridge Lawn Bowling Club, 84 Glen Morris Dr., St. Catharines (905-684-9621), during which there will be a celebration of Sherry's life.
