SHERRILL ANNE DORLING (nee MacMICKING) (U.E.) Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Friday, December 4, 2009 in her 71st year. Beloved life partner of Barney Leach. Much loved mother of Pam Foote and husband Dean and Jeannie Combden and husband Casey. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Mackenzie, Stephanie, Taylor, Cassidy, Casey Jr., Colton, Carley-Jean and Cailyn. Survived by her brother John MacMicking and wife Phyllis, nieces Megan and Charlena, nephews Matt and Will, and by her brother-in-law Richard Dorling and wife Sylvia. Fondly remembered by cousins Chuck MacMicking and wife Jean, and Wendy Farha. Predeceased by her parents Helen and Jack MacMicking, sister-in-law Audrey MacMicking, and by Don Dorling. Sherry was a proud member of the United Empire Loyalists and past president of the Niagara Peninsula Needle Arts Guild. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Hospice Niagara would be appreciated. A memorial gathering will be held at a later date, with arrangements entrusted to the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, (905-684-6346).
