SHIRLEY MARIE DRAPER Peacefully at River Glen Haven Nursing Home while surrounded by her family, Shirley passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at the age of 77 years. Shirley Draper (nee Snider), beloved wife of the late John Draper (2011). Dear mother of Darlene Don Reis and her husband Joseph of Keswick, Daniel Draper and Shelly of Pefferlaw, Deborah Foisey and her husband Robert of Pefferlaw and David Draper and his wife Cathy of Newmarket. Loving grandmother of Joey, Damien and his wife Sheena, Breannah, David, Vanessa and Lauren. Great-grandmother of Loghan. Predeceased by her granddaughter Treannah. Shirley was proud of the many years she worked at the Toronto Star in the circulation department. The family extends their gratitude to the wonderful staff of River Glen Haven for the care our mother received for the past four years of her life. There will be a celebration of Shirley's life at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 356, Sutton, Sunday, September 11, 2016 from 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. with remembrances at 3:00 p.m. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of York Region, 2 - 240 Edward Street, Aurora, ON L4G 3S9, would be appreciated by the family.
