SHIRLEY ANNE MAY Peacefully at Dufferin Oaks Home for Senior Citizens, Shelburne, on Wednesday, January 7, 2015, Shirley May, in her 85th year, beloved wife of Proctor May, Orangeville. Loving mother of Darrel and his wife Laurie, Warren and his wife Cheryl. Cherished grandmother of Ryan and Betsy, Codey, Veronica, and Alora. Dear sister of Minnie McCabe, Eric and Kay-Anne Broger and predeceased by Ron Broger. The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home Baxter & Giles Chapel, 273 Broadway, Orangeville (519-941-2630) on Sunday afternoon 2 - 4 and evening 7 - 9 o'clock. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday, January 12 at 1:30 o'clock. Followed by cremation. If desired, memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer Society of Dufferin County, 1-25 Centennial Road, Orangeville L9W 1R1 or Dufferin Oaks Home for Senior Citizens, 151 Centre Street, Shelburne L0N 1S4. It is with great sadness to hear of Shirley's passing and I am very sorry for your loss. Shirley and Proctor and my mom Betty go as far back to school days together. Shirley was my moms Maid of honour at her wedding and Proctor was my dad's best man. Shirley was my moms cherished friend,one of the best , one of the few and the far betweens. My deepest sympathys Tracy xo

I worked in the Emergency Department at Etobicoke General Hospital for several years with Shirley. She was a wonderful volunteer who worked countless hours and helped out immensely. Please accept my deepest condolences. She will be missed by all of her family and friends. Rest in Peace
