That bright smile on Uncle Sidney's face and his big, warm hugs are unforgettable! He will always be special to me as he is my Godfather. With loving thoughts.

I will always remember Uncle Sidney with a smile on his face. As a kid, one of my fondest memories was him shaking the tamarind tree so that I could fill my brown paper bag. That usually "made my day". His kindness and thoughtfulness is unforgettable.

Sydney Goo Ya you are one of that remarkable generation - diligent, loyal and I never heard you complain. I hope my generation and the next can continue in the same mode. No matter what your own day was, you always greeted us with a smile and asked how we were, from when we were little to when we became adults. Merrell Chin-Yee

I will always remember Goo Ya as a kind and gentle man whose sunny nature and quiet decency was known and respected by us all . He and Moy Agoo provided a role model of a loving marriage.

I will always remember Tai-goo-chung as a kind, gentle man who always saw the best in people. During the year that I lived with the family before coming to Canada he often looked out for my well-being, ensuring that I got to and from many of my activities. The world was richer for his presence and poorer now that he has passed on. Rest peacefully dearest uncle.
