SRI-SKANDA-RAJAH, SRI GUGGAN With heavy hearts and a profound sense of loss, we announce the passing of Sri Guggan Sri-Skanda-Rajah, longstanding advocate for human rights and racial equality, on Sunday, October 9, 2022. Cherished son of the late Justice Pon and the late Kanmany Sri-Skanda-Rajah; beloved husband of Janet; loving father of Anya; adored brother of the late Suseela, Indra and Sri Bavan. Viewing will be Sunday, October 16th, from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, 8911 Woodbine Ave., Markham, ON. On Monday, October 17th, viewing at 8:30 a.m., Hindu Ceremony and Last Rites, 9:30-11:00 a.m. Cremation will take place at 11:30 a.m. at Highland Hills Funeral Home, 12492 Woodbine Ave., Gormley, ON. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Diabetes Canada.
