STEFAN SHYSHKO August 14, 1923 - December 29, 2014 Stefan passed into the arms of our Lord December 29th with family by his side. Predeceased by his wife Anna and daughter Katherine. Mourned by his children Paula (Bohdan), Raissa (Andrei) and Gregory (Lesia); his grandchildren Steven, Kristine (Stratos), Basil (Melissa), Larissa, Andrew, Alana (Allan) and Melanie; great-grandchildren Isabella, Katrina, Lilia, Sophie, Ana and Gabriella; along with extended family and friends from the USA and Ukraine. Thank you to all the Staff of the Ukrainian Canadian Care Centre who cared for Stefan over the past couple of years. Notably Ewa and Oksana who we are sure will remember him for his good natured smiles and accolades of "excellent" whenever asked how he was feeling. Forever loved and always in our hearts. A visitation will be held at Cardinal Funeral Home, 92 Annette St. (east of Keele), on Monday, January 5th from 7 - 9 p.m. Panakhyda at 8 p.m. An Orthodox Rite of Funeral will be held at the All Saints of Ukraine Chapel, 1280 Dundas St. W., Oakville on Tuesday at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Volodymyr Cemetery.
