Every day I remember spunky and amazing Stella and I think of the incredible family that created her. Every bright orange tiger lily, beautiful butterfly, every rainbow in a dark and cloudy sky, and every chocolate timbit will keep Stella alive. My sincerest condolences.

I've been reading your blog and feel as though I know your family intimately - perhaps this is why I am so incredibly sad over Stella's passing. We all read or hear of sad stories but this one has hit me hard - I just love that little Stella! She won't be forgotten - I know I'll continue to think of her and how much she has taught me about life. I'll be coming to Stella's Celebration of Life on the 10th.

I do not know you, but your story, the videos, the pictures just brought me to tears. Your daughter was so beautiful and I know she is now with the angels. I lost my husband to cancer one year ago. I know what this horrible disease does to families. God Bless you all and I hope you will find some peace in your wonderful memories of this beautiful child.

I'm now a nannie myself, but I fill so blessed to be apart of this little angel's world, and her beauty, her devoted family and friends and her fight to live, brings tears to my eyes. Stella didn't die, she just moved on to a better place. Mishi and Amiee write a book about her and do a movie. Your love and devotion to your "Joy" needs to get out there, for future generations, this this horrid tumor. Love to you all.............

Mishi and Aimee, I am so very, deeply sorry for your loss! As I've written many times, even though we have never met in person, your family has become part of my family, and I am grieving with you as are many who also got to know and fall in love with Stella and your entire family, extended family, and friends. I wish Stella was still here with you, but am so happy that she is finally free! She can once again talk, walk, laugh, climb, and shine that beautiful smile of hers!! Thank you for letting me be a part of your family's lives. You all, especially Stella, have taught me to be a better mother, friend, and human being. I will never forget any of you!! I will continue to pray for you all, and pray the Lord will show you peace and comfort you as only he can! I'm writing to you with tears in my eyes. I did not have the honour of knowing your beautiful family, but I feel so heartbroken over the loss of Stella. I too am a mother of a beutiful 3-year daughter and I cannot imagine what the past while has been like. What I hope to have learned from your experience is to hold and love and kiss my baby even more than I already do. The other stuff in life can truly wait, and nothing is more important than being with your children.

Mishi, Aimee and Family,
Through the love story you wrote to and about your sweet Stella I also felt like I knew her. Dear Mishi & Aimee,
My daughter & I read your blog Mishi. We are both heartbroken for you both. We thought we knew 'love' but the love you showed Stella in her final days was extraordinary. The love you had for your little red headed Angel was God sent. The way you continued to take Stella on outings until the very end was truly remarkable. The emotions you continued to show each and everytime you were in public took our breath away. Mishi you are a remarkable mother. The two of you with three little ones and one so very ill deserve a nobel prize for the way you handled the situation you found yourselves in.
We have cried and cried and find it difficult to stop crying for all of you.
Loved the big bed what a wonderful loving way to allow friends and family to show their love and spend time with Stella Joy.
The sheets cut into strips to wrap Stella Joy in hugs so she won't be alone is truly the most wonderful act of love.
Stella Joy was and is an Angel.You will miss this little body of sweetness till you take your last breath.
She is now in a place where she is whole again her body no longer a rag doll. Her eyes now work together. She not only can stick out her tongue but she can talk again. She is well again.
She loves you both more then you will ever know. She loves her brothers so much. She loves her grandparents and all her extended family and friends.
You will all be together again someday.
We want you all to know you are in our thoughts and prayers at this most difficult time. You are not alone we all share in your grief.
Stella Joy left a wonderful legacy in each and everyone of you.
Love surrounds you all like the love that surrounded Stella Joy.
We will all look up for that extra star up in the heavens above.
