STEPHANIE HALL Obituary

STEPHANIE HALL It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Stephanie Hall on November 5, 2013; a beloved wife, mother and grandma who after a valiant four year fight against cancer could fight no more. Stephanie is survived by Brian, her adoring husband of 35 years; her precious children Alexandra, Karen and Kevin; her treasured grandchildren Brookelyn, Connor and Paige and her much-loved brothers and sister Bryon, Gary and Karen. Stephanie was born in Port Colborne, Ontario where she spent her early years prior to joining the working-world as a teenager in Montreal. From there she worked a while in Toronto, went back to Montreal and finally settled in Mississauga. She spent 34 of those years working for a company now referred to as Glaxo Smith Kline; a company she was very proud to be a part of, a job she loved and the working-home of what became life-long friends. Stephanie's fight with cancer kept her in and out of many area hospitals; all of which demonstrated sincere compassion and a great deal of caring. The family would like to express its heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff at every one of those hospitals; particularly Dr. T. Short and Dr. M. Sharma at Credit Valley Hospital, Dr. M. Blackstein at Mount Sinai, Dr. A. Schimmer at Princess Margaret, Dr. M. Fehlings at Toronto Western and a very special thank you to Dr. A. Devanesen, Stephanie's family physician, who has been with them every step of the way. Friends may call at MEADOWVALE CEMETERY & VISITATION CENTRE, 7732 Mavis Rd., Brampton (north of Hwy. 407 and south of Steeles Ave., 905-451-3716) on November 16th from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. and November 17th from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. with Funeral Service to follow at 2:00 p.m. As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or any of the hospitals mentioned above. Messages of condolence, shared stories or memorial donations may be left for the family online at www.etouch.ca
