Steven Michael LEWIN

LEWIN, Steven Michael 70, passed away suddenly on January 10, 2018 at the Grey Bruce Regional Hospital. Born on February 7, 1947 in Toronto to William and May Lewin (Walker). He graduated from Malvern Collegiate Institute, Toronto and from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Arts and Masters in Education. Steve worked as an Elementary School Teacher at St. Vincent Euphrasia Elementary School from 1972 until his retirement in 2003. Steve is survived by his wife Ainsley of fifty years, son Michael (Joslyn), daughter Andrea (Ian Hodgkinson), brother Gary Lewin, sister Marilyn Lewin and grandchildren Dylan Lewin-Vanyi, Isabel and Hanna Lewin, his nieces and nephews, cousins and extended family. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by close friends John and Janice Marshall. Visitation will be held on January 16th from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Gardiner-Wilson Funeral Home in Meaford, Ontario. Funeral services will be at the Meaford United Church on January 17th at 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations can be made to the Meaford Hospital Foundation.
