I am truly sorry to hear of Steven's passing, especially at such a young age and leaving behind a young family. I first met Steven in Grade 8 and knew him through out high school and a few gatherins beyond. He truly was a gentle soul who was always thoughtful, kind and generous. Dear Andrea, Tyler and Dana
My sincere condolences to you and your families. Steve was one of those hockey guys in our community that did it for the right reasons. After many conversations about the good and the bad about hockey, it was always what is best for the kids.
He will be missed in our community not only as a friend to so many, but as a positive mentor to our many youth.
I have only positive thoughts about Steve.
Keep positive as I am sure that is what he would have wanted.

Steve was a good guy ... I knew him since Grade 7. He always took a genuine interest in others ... a positive trait that speaks highly of his parents and close friends. My condolences to the family and especially his kids for losing a dad at a such an age.
