Where to start with 30 years. Apart from feeling like we grew up together, there were the amazing canoe trips, races in California, Disney land, New York, Paris. So so much laughter, such amazing memories. But, like many, my fondest and dearest are sitting at a bar, a kitchen table, on a street curb, just chatting. He packed 100 years of living into just under 50. We will miss him forever.

To the Dewar Family,
It was with complete shock and tremendous sadness that I learned of Stewart's sudden passing. Even before meeting him several years ago, I was already keenly aware of his legendary personality and relentless love of life. Needless to say, stories of this fun-loving and outgoing man were always adventurous and in no way exaggerated. As I soon found out, his charismatic reputation and natural "joie de vivre" had preceded him to a T.
Stewart's magnanimous spirit, selfless generosity and least of all, world-class sense of humour will be sadly missed. My heart goes out to his nephew Ryan, by whom he was truly loved and all to other members of the Dewar Clan.
All my memories of you are fond ones. Rest peacefully, "Uncle Stew".

Dear Aunt Cela and cousins Barrie, Okie, Pat, Scott, Graham and Craig, sending you our deepest heart-felt condolences. I was small but remember like it was yesterday, skiing at Collingwood, Lake Louise, Sunshine and laughing and just plain feeling the smile through and through in the light you create. Stewart's ear-to-ear smile IS always with us. You filled us with great memories and love.
