CHAMNEY, Stuart Hugh - 1929 - 2014 Passed away suddenly at Westmount Retirement Home, Kitchener on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Joan Chamney (2007), loving father of Stuart Chamney and wife Marylynne, Brenda O'Brien and her husband Douglas, Barb Cooke and her husband Glenn. Much loved grandfather of Andrea Weber (John), Jessica O'Brien, Jamie O'Brien, Katie Cooke and Mitchell Cooke. Hugh will be missed by his sister Jean Clark and husband Howard, sister Ruth Lockhart and many nieces and nephews. Hugh will also be missed by his many friends and "family" at Westmount Retirement Home. The family extends a special thank you to Hugh's special friend Eric Ellis for his caregiving and friendship. Cremation has taken place. Friends and relatives are invited to join in a celebration of Hugh's life at Westmount Retirement Home, 190 David Bergey Drive, Kitchener, on Monday, May 12, 2014 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
