Stuart CORBETT Obituary

CORBETT, Stuart (Stu) Stu, age 77, passed away January 25, 2018 at St. Michael's Hospital of lymphoma. A respected educator of 35 years, he leaves behind wife Anne Harland, sons David, Darcy and Daniel, sister Maureen, grandaughter Daphne and extended family The Sadlers, Macdonalds and Murrays. Stu's body will be donated to UofT to further medical research and there will not be a funeral at this time. Memorial service to be held by family at later date.

It was heartbreaking to hear the passing of Stu. He was an amazing and wonderful person. He always had a smile on his face, and I will miss seeing him. My deepest condolences to Dan and Daphne and the entire Corbett family.

I was sadden by the news of Stu's death.He and my husband,(Elroy died Oct. 31/16) spent many years together with Scarborough Board and we always thought very highly of Stu. He was a kind gentle person, with a gift for the natural sciences.

I am saddened by the news of Stu's passing. My sincerest condolences to his family. He was a kind, gentle man that I had the pleasure of knowing through the dental office I worked at. Stu was also kind enough to offer his cottage to me and my family over the years. Rest in peace, Stu.

I was saddened to read of the passing of Stu and extend my sincere sympathy to Anne and family. I knew Stu in the former Scarborough Board of Education and worked with him in Area 8 as a colleague principal. He was a true gentleman and a respected educator.
