Stuart PAXTON Obituary

PAXTON, Stuart V. - WWII RCAF Veteran, retired local electrician and longtime resident of the Town of Richmond Hill - Mill Pond area Passed away peacefully at 96 years of age at Mackenzie Health Hospital on Wednesday, March 12, 2014. Stuart, husband of the late Celestine Lowndes. Father of Leste (Tom Summers), Michael (late), Anne, Cathy (late Bill Horlick) and Janet (Steve Westlake). Grandfather to Sheri (Pedro), Liam and Caitlin, Michael (Lesley) and Tim (Melissa), Laura, Elizabeth and Chris. Great- grandfather of Nicolas, Daniel and Kaylee. Brother of Marie Meisner, Joan Reid and the late Clare, Gerry, Helen Ramer and Bernice Piercey. Brother-in-law to Marjorie Paxton. Thanks goes to Veterans Affairs and his "sweetheart" caregivers Karen, Joice, Isabel, Rosalina and Kim for providing care at home. Friends may call at the MARSHALL FUNERAL HOME, 10366 Yonge Street, Richmond Hill (4th traffic light north of Major Mackenzie Drive) on Friday from 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 22, 2014 with visitation one hour prior. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any nature conservation efforts - Ontario Nature, Canadian Wildlife Federation or Operation Migration.
