Susan SZKE

SZKE, Susan (nee ZSUZSANNA ROCHLITZ) May her memory be a blessing. It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susan Szke (97), mother of Vera, grandmother of Ruth and Peter, great-grandmother of Nousha and Parsa. She died peacefully in Toronto on January 3, 2022 due to complications resulting from COVID-19. Orphaned during the Holocaust, she carried forward her family's long-held traditions of pacifism and feminism, refusing any suggestion that war can ever be justified or hate ever rationalized. We cherish that legacy, and hope more than anything that she can now be with those whom she lost.
