Susan was one of the kindest, most patient people that I have ever met. She was a gifted musician and teacher. She taught me music theory and music history, and we kept in touch over the years. Susan loved to teach and was inspirational to her students. She will be missed very much. My condolences to Sterling and the rest of her family.
