Sydney "Keith" HARBURN

HARBURN, Sydney "Keith" Sydney "Keith" Harburn – age 81, of Kentville, formerly of Toronto, ON, passed away in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville, on February 8, 2022. Born in Calgary, AB, he was a son of the late John "Sydney" and Florence (Center) Harburn. Keith worked for many years as a Professor at the University of Toronto. Upon retirement, he and his wife, JoAnne (Parker), moved to Kentville to explore all the East Coast had to offer. He was involved with training dogs in Toronto Search and Rescue, and enjoyed dancing, especially ballroom, swing and salsa. In addition to his wife, JoAnne, he will be deeply missed by his son, Michael; as well as his many friends and neighbours. Cremation has taken place. In keeping with Keith's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Donations in memory may be made to ElderDog Canada – honouring and preserving the animal-human bond through care, companionship, research and education. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
