MANDEL, Sylvia Hilda (nee Hanen) - Passed away peacefully at Baycrest Hospital on Wednesday, December 17, 2014. Loving wife for seventy years to Al. Beloved mother of Eudice (Maurice), Howard (Minna) and Bryna (Keeva). Amazing Bubie to Sabrina (Morry), Elliot (Natale), Ira (Niki), Marci, Josh, Sara, Jonah (Mariangela), Adam (Kelly) and Mia. Dear Great-Bubie to Nathan, Daniella, Kate, Brooke, Zac, Aidan and Quentin. Cherished sister to Anne (Sam) Goresht of Calgary and brother Mike Hanen of Vancouver. Funeral service will be held at Steeles Memorial Chapel on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Bathurst Lawn Cemetery, Shaarei Tefillah section. Shiva to be observed at 52 Bestview Drive, Toronto. Memorial donations may be made to Baycrest Foundation, 416-785-2875. www.baycrest.org/donations
