A bright light in the Bakery world has been snuffed out, she was a world class lady speading joy an smiles, as well sharing her love for Sweet treats with rest of the world! I own all her books but no matter how hard I try I'll never measure up to the Legend herself. My heart goes out to her family & friends, I wish you a blessed journey an my you turn the heads of the angels on high woth you sweet Disposition an sweet sweet treats world with miss you Sylvia Weinstock. Please accept my deepest sympathy of the death of Sylvia Weinstock, I met her once but I will never forget her kindness to me. I had admired her work from afar and when I had an opportunity to visit New York Autumn 2001, she very kindly agreed to meet me and show me her workshops. I had never seen cakes so beautifully decorated. Such a beautiful kind lady. Treasured memories. May she rest in peace.

We will miss Ms. Sylvia Weinstock's presence and her many contributions to her community as a businesswoman who was a cake baker and decorator known as the “Queen of Cakes.” May the love and the special memory you shared and cherish with her show just how much your life was touched by her. I will always have the fondest memories of my dear friend Sylvia. Generous with her time,humble about her celebrity and simply a hoot to hang with. That was Sylvia. As a working makeup artist in NYC, I met Sylvia working together on many of the same clients. She always supported me. When I opened my store in 1993 she sent me a cake decorated with all the bells&whistles without me even asking for it. Her family became friends as well. Sylvia is a treasure who will be greatly missed by all. Her legacy will live on forever. My deepest condolences to her dear family and all whom loved her.

I loved your wonderful mother. She was my mentor in the wedding business. Many of my upscale weddings in Austin Texas featured one of her beautiful wedding cakes. Love to her family.

I met Sylvia 18 years ago when she and the team built an extraordinary wedding cake for our daughter. Whether it was an art design or the Faberge eggs, she was a master. You will be missed my friend
