It is with great sadness I read this week about the passing of Tak Urabe.
My deepest condolences to his family and Sadako, whom I remember well.

With the sadness, however, came wonderful memories of working with Tak at Panasonic Canada, for eight years. The last two of which I had the pleasure of being Tak's Executive Assistant. He was a kind, gentle, humble man and it was an honor to work so closely with him.

I left Panasonic and moved to Brockville, Ontario to get married. In Brockville we hosted an English Tea party for Tak and Panasonic President Lew Shoskes when they were on a business trip visiting a local dealer.

Tak was unquestionably, one of the finest individuals I've ever worked with, setting a high standard of personal and corporate conduct. He had a huge impact on my early days in corporate business.
We all worked hard but also had fun and laughter!
