Bobby Lynn (Skipper) Ragas entered into Eternal Rest at Meadowcrest Hospital on Tuesday, July 30, 2002 at 6:40 a.m. Devoted husband of Shelia Turner Ragas. Loving father of Monique Jones, Tabritha Powell, Hershell, Ragas and Charles Williamson, Jr. Son of the late Mary and Samuel Ragas. Grandfather of Kaylin and Jazlin Williamson, Vaughsha Robertson, Charles Mach, Kendrick and Kenan Jones. Cameron and Collins Ragas. Brother of Eunice Williams, Janice Ingram, Barbara Prout, Ruby, Betty, Gerald, Michael and Joseph Ragas and the late Samuel and Geraldine Ragas. Son-in-law of the late Elvina and Leon Turner. Godson of Mable Montque and Preston Parker, III. Devoted friend of Steve Acy and Nick Corona. Godfather of Ivy Ragas, Adonia Manuel, Dwayne Ingraham, Sr. and Adonis Ducro. Also survived by 8 sisters-in-law, 5 brothers-in-law a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Age 55 years. A native of Port Sulphur, LA. and resident of Plaquemines Parish, LA. Relatives and friends of the family, also priest and parishioners of St. Patrick and St. Joseph Catholic Church in Port Sulphur, LA., St. Peter Baptist Church, Macedonia Baptist Church and all neighboring churches, employees of Plaquemine Parish Government, Plaquemines Parish School Board, Family Dollar Store and Blanton Elementary School of Arlington, Texas are invited to attend the funeral. Services from St. Patrick Catholic Church, Port Sulphur, LA. on Saturday, August 3, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. Father Gerard Stapleton, Celebrant. Viewing at the above named church from 9:00 a.m. until service time. Visitation from Davis Mortuary Service, 230 Monroe St., Gretna, LA. on Friday, August 2, 2002 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Interment: Bartholomew Cemetery, Diamond, LA.
