Teresa THOMPSON-CALVERT Obituary
Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at Grove Park Nursing Home in Barrie, at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Robert Thompson and the late Thomas Calvert. Loving mother of Bob (Marlene) and Sharon (Frank Baistrocchi). Beloved grandmother of Jay, Chase, Kendal, Kayla, Shane and Dustin. Beloved great-grandmother of Luke, Connor, Cole and Hudson. Teresa will be missed by family and many friends. Family and friends may gather at Andrews Community Funeral Centre (8190 Dixie Road, Brampton (North of Steeles), 905-456-8190), on Monday, March 28, 2016 from 4-8 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph of Nazareth Anglican Church (290 Balmoral Drive, Brampton, ON). Teresa was a very devoted member of the Altar Guild at both St Paul's Rexdale and St Joseph of Nazareth Brampton for over 40 years. She was a very special person and will be missed by all. Janet Bertollo (St. Joseph's)

Teresa played a big part in my life growing up. Always supportive, and always accommodating. She also knew how to serve up a mean bowl of soup and water when I stopped by.
Loved her like she was a 2nd Mom.

I am saddened to hear of Teresa's death. I have many happy memories of her (and Tom) when I was the priest at St. Joseph's from 1989 to 1996, especially of our trip to the Holy Land. Teresa was always cheerful, kind and FUN. My wife Diane joins me in sending our deepest condolences. May she rest in peace and rise with Christ in glory.

Teresa will be missed. I was able to have monthly visits with her both at Mulcaster Mews and Grove Park. Even after her stroke she still recognized me and we would talk about her trips with Dad. She enjoyed seeing pictures of my travel adventures.
We always ended our visits by saying "I love you". So here is one last hug to her and I know that she is at peace with Dad.
My condolences to Bob and Sharon and your family. It is very sad to lose your mum. Peter and I will see you at the funeral.
