Frank's life revolved around his family and he spent many happy summers at the cottage and swimming and sailing in Georgian Bay. He delighted in our annual Father's Day picnic and our family book club. He was an avid Raptors fan and a season ticket holder from Day 1. Frank believed in a life of service and volunteered with his parishes, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, the PTA, coaching sports, and the Golden Legends (Nortel Community Volunteers). Gillian greatly enriched Frank's life and they had twenty wonderful years together and enjoyed family gatherings, cross-Canada camping trips, cruises, bus trips with friends, dining out and going for afternoon coffee. Frank had a long and rewarding career at Northern Electric/Nortel, retiring in 1986. He subsequently taught Community College courses in Quality Engineering for many years. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2022, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Turner & Porter (Butler), 4933 Dundas St. W., Etobicoke. I only had the privilege of meeting Frank O'Rourke a few times but he was a lovely, kind man, qualities he and Dolores passed on to the entire family. My sincere sympathies to my dear friend Carol Ann, Bob, Jennifer, Christina and the entire O'Rourke family.
