LOPES, TIBERIO ALCIDES VIEIRA September 29, 1944 – June 13, 2022 It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved brother Tiberio, on June 13, 2022, at Markham-Stouffville Hospital, Markham, Ontario, at the age of 77. Tiberio was born in Sao Miguel, Azores, on September 29, 1944, to the late Ernesto Tavares Lopes and Maria Isabel Vieira Pimentel. He is survived by his sisters Gabby (Gabriella), Sylvia (Silveria), Judy (Juvenalia) and Annette, brothers-in-law Daniel and Scott and nieces and nephews Nelson, Alina, Bernadette, Rick and Adriana, 4 great-nieces and 2 great-nephews. He was predeceased by his brother-in-law Jaime (Jim) and longtime life partner Christine Scott. We will all miss his "tough-guy exterior", kind heart and fierce family loyalty.
