Tina Speller Obituary
TINA SPELLER Died with dignity in her 85th year on Sunday, March 1, 2009, after a long, valiant fight with cancer. Beloved wife and best friend for 65 years, of Robert (deceased 2008), loving mother of Donald (Ann Marie), Toronto, and Donna (Paul Vetter), Burlington, and devoted grandmother of Alexander Vetter (Krista), Guelph, Christian Vetter (Trisha), Burlington, and Andrew Speller, Halifax, and great- grandmother of Mason, Charlotte and Noah. Tina lived most of her life in Montreal and moved to Kingston in 1988 upon Bob's retirement where they enjoyed over 20 years of travelling, golfing and curling together with their dear friends at the Cataraqui Golf and Country Club. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of the James Reid Funeral Home (1900 John Counter Blvd., Kingston, ON 613-544-3411) at 1:00 p.m, on Saturday, March 7, 2009. A family interment will follow the service at the Cataraqui Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the UHKF (Cancer Centre of Southeastern ON, or the Kingston General Hospital Foundation) or to the St. George's Cathedral Building Fund in memory of Tina Speller would be much appreciated.
