Heather,

It’s not often that you meet a special person like Trevor. He was one of a kind.

I remember the sing-alongs at Verdun High, the Hunter's Horn and the Irish Pub at Expo '67. But my most favourite memories are of Mallett's Bay. Who can forget those wonderful campfires, the tricks we used to play on each other and the wonderful friendship we all shared. These are memories that I will treasure forever.

I know it’s difficult to say goodbye to such a remarkable man, but it’s a joy for each one of us to cherish the memories we have of Trevor’s singing, his kindness, his caring, his love and the special way he touched each one of our hearts.

I know we will all miss him very much.

May the memory of Trevor’s love and laughter surround you and bring you peace.

Love Barbara & Charlie Bennett

Dear Heather and Family,
Alfons and I are sending our condolences. Trevor had touched our hearts from the first moment we met him at Nata and Stephen's house (May 2008) and we will remember him forever.

Remember me when the day begins
Remember me in the night
Remember me when your feeling sad
Remember the sweet words i said
to help when u felt bad
Remember how I cuddled you
like a bear hug big but soft
Remember my voice as i reassure you
everything will be alright
Remember the way I looked at you
with happy smiling eyes
Remember what I told you
you should never have to hide
Remember our song on the t.v
Remember dancing joyfully with me
and everytime you feel down and blue
remember me, your loving husband.

Dear Heather & Family,
Oh Danny boy, the pipes, the pipes are calling
From glen to glen…., I will miss you Trevor. I will always remember your spirit and although we are very sad now, were glad to of known such a great person as you.
You have touched and enriched the lives of my wife and I and all who knew you. You have been a dear friend to many, and have left us with many wonderful memories and you will be deeply missed by us all. There were so many things we learned from you, even if we talked to you for a short time. Trevor, to us, was a caring person and quickly became “part of” everyone whose life he came in contact with.
Trevor will live in our hearts and mind’s and he will always be remembered.
So long to my Cote St Paul Neighbor.

Love

Heather, Kelly & Ryan,
We are devastated with your loss. Having seen you and Trevor for the first time in years 3 weeks ago makes that loss even harder. We are so thankful we had that opportunity to reconnect. I will always cherish the fun times we all spent together and will remember the "garage parties" along with my constant request to have Trevor sing "Seven Drunken Nights". I will always remember the look on Trevor's face as you (Heather) and I would try to sing (if you could call what we do singing) along. Although we are miles away physically you are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Debbie (nee Robson) and I knew Trevor at Verdun High, and remember him most fondly for his "hootenanny" in the second floor English Room. The Winter Carnival in December, 1965 was a blast, but the performance by Trevor, Richard Marshall, Janice Coull, Elaine Comartin and others was the starring act. I was so impressed, I traded one of my oil paintings with Mark Sedgwick for a rudimentary first guitar, and I have been playing it, and Debbie and I singing together, ever since. Trevor lives on.

I met Trevor not to long ago...it was probably one of the first times I went out to walk my dog when I ran into him. Myself and Travis were new to the building but Trevor was welcoming and kind.

He will always be remembered.

REMEMBER ME

Remember me when flowers bloom
Early in the spring
Remember me on sunny days
In the fun that summer brings

Remember me in the fall
As you walk through the leaves of gold
And in the wintertime - remember me
In the stories that are told

But most of all remember
Each day - right from the start
I will be forever near
For I live within your heart

I met Trevor when he and Heather moved into the apartment building that I live in. Frank and I had become friendly with both Trevor and Heather in the past year. Trevor walked Lucky for me whenever I needed his help.

One of our fondest memories of Trevor was the weekend that Frank and I spent with him and Heather at the cottage this past summer. We had some laughs, a few drinks and some good food. There was also some singing involved if I recall correctly!!

We will miss him.

Trevor was a very close family friend of the Pentecost family in London On, he was a great friend and someone who would listen to whatever you had to say. He could melt anyone's heart with his singing voice and the love that he gave so easily to anyone he met. we are all saddened by the loss of our long time friend. Our hearts and prayers are with Heather and family during this time. He will be missed but never forgotten he will always remain in our hearts!
