A great teacher. Some teachers pass in out of childhood without a memory. Not Mr. Dunstan. Really enjoyed being a student in his class. He was always ready to help you and give you the benefit of the doubt. He was a good soul.

Few people were able to reach me as a teen. I was unruly, disrespectful and headed down the path of ruin. Mr. Dunstan intrigued me, he set a new bar of challenge for me, and mostly, he called me out. I REMEMBER him, I HONOUR him and above all, I RESPECTED him. I have learned that in life, If we can have just ONE person stand and say "YOU made a difference to my life", then we were successful. Mr. Dunstan, Sir, YOU made a difference to my life. Thank you. God Bless and may I honour you through my unbiased arguments in the future.

Mr Dunstan was one of my favourite teachers at West Hill CI in the mid 80's- hated the class but liked the man. I will never forget his often used response to an overly chatty classroom: "this isn't a sandbox-this is not playtime-this is a time to learn".

I had Mr Dunstan for law in the '70s at West Hill Collegiate. He was one of my favourite teachers. Always classy, with a great sense of humour, and the patience of a saint dealing with high school kids. A great man.
