Victor Joseph THOMPSON

THOMPSON, Victor Joseph Died on 21 July, 2021 in his 94th year. Beloved husband and best friend of Dana and loving father of Lesley, Eric, Holly Wells and her husband Doug, and Heather Hudson and her husband Gary. He will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Joshua (Jesikah), Adam (Megan), Rachelle (Tim), Ian, Makayla and Lucas and by his nieces Joan Masterton and Dale Linton and their families. Predeceased by his mother Jessie, his father Victor, his brother Arthur, his sister-in-law Violet and his daughter-in-law Susan. He achieved his Chartered Accountant's designation with Clarkson, Gordon & Co. and served in senior executive positions with Canadian Pacific Transport Co. Ltd. and Acco Canadian Co. Ltd. He was a past president of The Navy League of Canada (Ontario Division), past Commodore of Scarborough Bluffs Sailing Club, past president of Metropolitan Toronto Condominium Corporation 1198 and was an active member of Knox United Church, Agincourt where he served in many capacities. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Knox Heritage Fund at Knox United Church, Agincourt would be appreciated.
