VIOLET KNIGHT Obituary

VIOLET BRENDA KNIGHT Peacefully after a brief battle with cancer with her loving husband Colin by her side at Sunnybrook Hospital in her 68th year. Cherished by her sisters Catherine (Don, predeceased), Betty (Grant) and brother Sterling (Linda). Missed by her dearest friend Mary, her many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and cousins. Our gratitude for the love and support at Sunnybrook Hospital (Green Team in the 4D Wing). Visitation will be held at the Bernardo Funeral Homes (2960 Dufferin St., south of Lawrence Ave.) on Monday from 6-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the Bernardo Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at 11 a.m. Private cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Violet can be made to The Salvation Army.

Violet was a graduate of the Toronto Western Hospital School of Nursing. She worked as a Registered Nurse for 44 years. She still lived in the family home where she was born on Glen Park Avenue. Violet had a good rapport with her long time neighbours. Violet was predeceased by her parents Walter (1980) and Mary Jane (1992) Howell. She cared for her Mother for the last 12 years of her life. Everyone will miss her greatly
