VITO RIZZUTO Obituary

VITO RIZZUTO October 25, 1920 - October 27, 2016 Passed away peacefully at Toronto Western Hospital on October 27, 2016 at the age of 96. Loving husband of Giuseppina Rizzuto for 64 years, devoted father of five daughters, four sons-in-law, eight grandchildren and extended family who loved and adored him. He will be greatly missed by all of us. Vito was known for being a loving, caring and hardworking man his whole life. He enjoyed travelling, playing cards, cooking, gardening and spending time with his family and friends. The family will receive friends at the Cardinal Funeral Home, 366 Bathurst St., on Monday, October 31st and Tuesday, November 1st from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, 840 Bathurst St., at 11 a.m. Interment will be held at the Sanctuary Park Cemetery, 1570 Royal York Rd., Etobicoke. If you wish to make a donation in his honour, please donate to The Hospital for Sick Children. www.sickkidsfoundation.com

Sincere condolences to the Rizzuto family. I am your mom's cousin from Montreal. I only met your dad a couple of years ago. Your uncle Giuseppe Santaguida introduced me to him. In the short time I knew him I was able to recognize that he was a very kind, warm and loving man. He will be missed by many.
