VIVIAN GAEIK Obituary

VIVIAN GAEIK (nee TIMMINS) Passed away peacefully on August 15, 2013 at the age of 85 at the Union Villa Nursing Home where she had lived for the past 10 years after being diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. Loving mother to Wendy Graham (John Noseworthy) and Bruce Graham (Paula Purdon). Devoted grandmother of Gregory Graham and Ana Graham. Dear sister of Georgie Yetman and aunt to Pam Yetman and Dan Yetman. Cherished friend of Ella Richardson. Born in Winnipeg in 1928, Vivian moved to the Beach district of Toronto - a place she loved - in 1952 with her first husband Burt Graham. She was a warm, loving, kind and generous person who appreciated beautiful music, sang like an angel, and rejoiced in the beauty of nature. Vivian was the best mother and grandmother anyone could ever hope for and the world is a much poorer place without her incredible spirit. Vivian will live in our hearts forever. Predeceased by her loving husband Gerry Gaeik, sister Betty, and brother Bill. Wendy and Bruce would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff of Union Villa who cared for Vivian with such kindness and respect during the many years she resided at "The Villa". The family will be holding a private service.
