I remember the good times back on Roseheath...Walter's jokes and stories, his hospitality, how he'd always greet me by saying,"How is the Charlie?"...Walter a good neighbour who loved and took care of his family.

I will always remember your smile and your twinkling eyes, especially when you laughed at your own jokes. It meant so much to me when you went out of your way and took a bus to come and see me in the hospital. I respected how you doted and looked after Aili through her years of ongoing illness, it takes a special devotion to stand strong for so long. I am happy you are with her now, reunited forever.

Father you are now in peace with mom. Words cannot express the pain when your parents leave you. We feel lost and still waiting for you to come back. We are so grateful to know both of you are resting and not in pain anymore. Ashley, Amy and Sierra want me to tell you that they love you very much and may you rest in peace. I love you mom and dad

To my sweet papa,
You were so special to me and I am so sad that your journey has come to an end. You were such an inspirational man and always entertained everyone around you with your stories. You had such a contagious smile and were constantly putting a smile on others faces. You taught me the true meaning of love when you told me the story of how you met Mummu and fell in love, and with how devoted you were to her when she was sick. You stood by her side and held her hand until the very end. Now you, Mummu and Norman can rest peacefully together for the rest of eternity. I love you with with all of my heart and will cherish all the memories I have of you forever.
Love: Your oldest grandaughter, Ashley
