Deacon Walter SHEREMETA

SHEREMETA, Deacon Walter Peacefully at his home, with his family by his side on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at the age of 89. Dearly beloved husband of Yaroslava Sheremeta (nee Stasyna). Loving father of Danny (Dolly), Terry, Andy (Laura), and John (Marnie). Cherished and lovingly remembered grandfather of Christopher, Nicole (Claude), Eric, Mikhail, Aumber (Jerrett), Kayla (Graeme), Justin, Dylan, Kyle and Cole, and great-grandfather of Raffy and Sebby. Walter was an active member of his church and served as Deacon. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and was a Bank Manager for 35 years at The Bank of Nova Scotia. Walter will be sadly missed by his family and friends. May he rest in peace. Webcast funeral will be celebrated on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ukrainian Catholic Church of St. Volodymyr, or the Ukrainian Canadian Care Centre would be appreciated.
