FOY, Wayne Cyril Retired Inspector Transportation Canada After a lengthy illness, in hospital on Monday, August 20, 2018 at the age of 75 years. Beloved husband of Amy Lynn (Neuman) Foy. Dear brother of Paul (Roma) and the late Marvin (Eileen). Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Special thanks to his "adopted" mother Beryl Hill, friends Cheryl and John Chaffey, Doctors Goss, Cook, Amjadi and Kim as well as the staff of Carfor for their exceptional care, love and support. Wayne had a longtime passion for flying, was a proud member of the Webster Team and held the position of National Chairman of the Aircraft Operation Group Association. Friends may visit at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road, Nepean, ON (between Bayshore and Baseline Road), on Saturday, September 8, 2018 from 10 a.m. until the time of a Celebration of Life in the chapel at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Irving Greenberg Cancer Centre, or The Ottawa Hospital Foundation General Campus would be appreciated. Dear Amy - Peter and I were so sorry to hear about Wayne. When we came to Winnipeg (I think 2014) to see Stu compete in Webster, you and Wayne were so very nice and kind to us. We enjoyed those few days in Winnipeg leading up to the fabulous awards dinner. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Laurie, Peter, Stuart and Sierra Loney.
