Wayne Jones Obituary

WAYNE EDWIN JONES March 27, 1938 - March 22, 2010 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Wayne Jones at the age of 71 following a short but courageous battle with cancer. Wayne passed away peacefully on March 22, 2010 with his family by his side and under the care of the extraordinary staff at Ian Anderson House. Son of the late Allan Jones and Dorothy Richmond, Wayne is survived by his loving wife Jenny (Grazyna Sokolowski) and his brother Brian (Rowena, David and Jeffrey). Wayne was a loving father to Mylène Robert (Chloè and Matis) and Ronald Mychka. Wayne was the President and sole owner of Amisol Company Limited, a prominent cosmetic and industrial chemical distributor serving the Canadian market for over 20 years. Well respected in the industry at home and abroad, Wayne was loyal to his suppliers, accommodating to his customers and considerate and caring to his employees. Wayne retired in 2007 after selling Amisol to Multichem Inc. (now Unipex Solutions Canada Inc.). An avid golfer, Wayne enjoyed his time with friends and family on the course and on the range at IBIS Golf and Country Club, Royal Montreal Golf Club and Trafalgar Golf and Country Club. A great friend and the consummate host, he will be fondly remembered for his kindness, humour and generosity. Visitation to be at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, located at 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, March 25, 2010. Jenny & Ronny,
Wayne was a special, unique man and I will miss him terribly. I will never eat lamb or caraway seeds without thinking of him. We were so lucky to have him as part of our family.
Heaven is a better and funnier place now that he is there with his Father.
God bless you and yours; hope to see you soon.
