Our deepest sympathy to Wayne's family including Wayne's sister, Mary Lou and her two sons, Sean & Reilly. My husband, David and my father-in-law, Michael Astill had the priviledge of working along side of Wayne at various schools including PJPII. I,myself, had the priviledge of knowing Wayne's sister, Mary Lou and her two sons, Sean & Reilly while they were living in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. I grew up across the street from his two wonderful nephews and also had the opportunity to babysit them. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family. May God grant you strength and comfort during the days ahead.

In our thoughts,

David & Kelly (nee Morris) Astill & family

Please accept our deepest condolences for the demise of Wayne. He was a tireless worker for his beliefs and gave much to the Basilian institutions that a lot of us belonged to. The speed of his demise was shocking and we hope that the family is finding the strength to accept this.
Sincerely

I got to know Wayne in the mid '60s. The high point of our friendship came in the summer of '67.
Five Basilian scholastics ran a settlrment house in the heart of Gary, Indiana. I always admired Wayne for his high integrity and always putting people first,
