Gone too soon !

I met Wendy at a Ukrainian Dance practice. The woman could dance and performed many solos and hundreds of shows.

I still remember the day she joined as if it was yesterday. She had this precious smile, as bright as life itself; always glowing.

Over the years Wendy and I kept in contact and she shared her many successes. We were constantly sending jokes and photos back and forth for years, but the one thing I'm sure she got a kick out of was "the people of Walmart", those never ceased arriving in my email.

She had some of the most memorable parties when she was a teen and it is at that time also that I met her mother.

Last year I was invited to Wendy's Octoberfest party and Wendy's zeal for a good party never changed. We had a blast sharing old times, joking and dancing, and it was then that a sprang my ultimate joke photo on her. I'd never seen her crack up like that. Her laughter was hysterically contagious.

She slid out of her chair to her knees and rolled laughing on the floor.

Wendy never let her illness get in her way, she had goals to meet and she met them.

There were many facebook messages that I saw that she posted for her love of God and she knew where she was going to the end.

I will miss her.

Until we meet again, Mike.
