Wendy Diane PECK

PECK, Wendy Diane (nee Wright) - June 23, 1946 - April 14, 2014 You will always be an amazing wife, Mom and Gramma. We are blessed with the unconditional love and support you have given us each and every day, and through the strength of our love we know that we will always be together. We all love you so much. Wendy was the cherished wife and best friend of Dave for 45 years. They shared a special bond that was admired by all who knew them. She was a loving and devoted Mom to Michelle (Bernie), Alyson (Bruce) and Jeff; and also the proud Gramma of Laura, Jeffrey and Owen. Family was everything to her. Wendy will be sadly missed by her brother-in-law Rick and niece Amy (Paul) and family, her special Aunt Betty (Brad) and many close friends. She will miss her daily walks with Dave and Molly, her summers at the cottage in Bracebridge, vacations in Niagara- on-the-Lake and South Carolina, time with friends and treasured visits with her grandchildren. The Peck family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to their family and friends, and to the doctors, nurses, and caregivers who supported them all during this difficult journey. Visitation for family and friends will take place in the Family Reception Centre at McEachnie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kingston Road in Ajax, on Thursday, April 24th from 5-8 p.m. A celebration of Wendy's life will be held at Presteign-Woodbine United Church, 2538 St. Clair Avenue East in East York, on Saturday, April 26th at 11 a.m. A reception will follow for family and friends to visit.
