WILLIAM CARR Obituary

WILLIAM "BILL" THOMAS CARR (Retired Frigidaire/G.M.) Passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of Doris (nee Henderson). Predeceased by his brother John and sister Jean (Christie). Much loved uncle of Cheryl, Janice, Bill, Janet, Helen, Bob, Eleanor, Stanley, Ward, Bob, Bruce, Marianne, Nancy and David. Bill served in the 2nd Survey Regiment of the Royal Canadian Artillery in France, Belgium, Holland and Germany during World War Two. He grew up in the Beach and was a lover of sports - football, tennis, hockey, softball, curling and lawn bowling. A family service has been held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. If you wish, remembrances may be made to Sleeping Children Around The World, 28 Pinehurst Cres., Toronto, ON M9A 3A5. Till we meet again

Fondly remember our Frigidaire Flyers goalie. Worked with Bill at Frig. 1947=1957.Good old days many good times together with office group.
