WILLIAM (BILL) STANLEY LASKY October 11, 1930 - June 30, 2012 With a brave heart and a strong will dad lived a long life of 81 years. He died quietly after a long battle with congestive heart failure. Loving husband of the late Joan (Hutchings). Bill will be dearly missed by his son Bill Jr. and his daughter Christine and his grandchildren Cassandra, Jenna and Dax. Bill will be fondly remembered by his sisters Jenny and Irene and brother-in-law Tom and many other family and friends. He is predeceased by his son Michael. The Cabbage Roll King now joins the party going on at another location with those who have gone before. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., 416-259-3705), on Thursday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday at 11 a.m. Cremation. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to Room 217 Foundation, www.room217.ca

Christine, your Father Bill was such an integral part of your being. You have been the best of the best of a daughter for Bill. He could have not asked for anything more.
You are right, it is his time at another Party. May Bill rest in peace and may you eventually find Peace knowing how much you gave to your Father to his last days.
