William Lemmex Obituary

WILLIAM JOHN LEMMEX May 24, 1927- August 4, 2009 Father to Maureen (Michael) and Byron (Patricia), grandfather to Ilana, Jordan, Alexis, Brynna and Devin. Survived by his brother Richard. A man who believed in the power of education and proud of his children's and grandchildren's accomplishments. He was a member of the RCAF until 1967 and then worked until retirement with IBM. He spent his remaining time in Toronto, travelling and enjoying his retirement. He spent the last four years of his life in Ottawa. Died of Alzheimer's-type dementia. Interment at Hillcrest Cemetery, Smiths Falls beside his parents. Thank you to the staff at Medex Extendicare for all their good care. At Bill's request there will be no service.
