MORRISON, WILLIAM After a short and brave battle with cancer, William Thomas Morrison (76 years) passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Easter Sunday, April 17, 2022. Beloved husband of 39 years to Marisa. Loving father to Adriana (Tom), Catherine (Will), and Michael. Adored grandfather to Luke. Predeceased by his parents, The Honourable Claude J. Morrison and Anne Marie Morrison (nee Douglas). Survived by his sisters, Claudia (Gerry deceased), Marianne (Gary), Rosemary (Hugh), and Cynthia; and countless loving family and friends. Bill received his law degree from the University of New Brunswick in 1973 and returned to Ontario to practice with the Ministry of the Attorney General until his retirement in 2009. A lover of all sports, he played hockey for his high school alma mater St. Michael's Oldtimers for 41 years. Bill will be fondly remembered for his easy-going personality, his love for his family, and for always being a kid at heart. Friends may call at the Marshall Funeral Home, 10366 Yonge Street, Richmond Hill on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, April 21st, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Immaculate Church (10295 Yonge Street). Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Mackenzie Health Foundation would be appreciated.
